From its hub at Paro International Airport, Druk Air offers flights to several cities in neighboring countries, including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Thailand, and Singapore.
One of the most notable routes is the flight from Paro to Bangkok, Thailand, offering passengers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range, including Mount Everest, as the aircraft navigates through narrow valleys before reaching its destination.
Additionally, Druk Air operates flights to destinations like Delhi, Kolkata, Bagdogra and Mumbai in India, Dhaka in Bangladesh, Kathmandu in Nepal, and Singapore, among others.
By Road from India
You can also enter Bhutan by road through the Phuentsholing border crossing. Phuentsholing is located on the Bhutanese side, and Jaigaon is the corresponding town on the Indian side. From Jaigaon, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to cross the border into Bhutan. However, please note that travel beyond Phuentsholing into other parts of Bhutan requires a permit, which can be obtained through a Bhutanese tour operator.
